- Place butter and milk in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes on medium setting or melt butter (with milk) in saucepan on stove.
- Add sifted flour and sugar nad combine well. Spread, as with cake mixture, into a well-greased, oven-proof dish.
- Pour sauce on top and bake (without lid) in a moderate oven for about 1 hour or until firm on surface. Cooking time with vary depending on oven.
- Serve hot with custard and/or vanilla ice-cream. Serves 6 – 8 adults.
