1 tsp salt
½ cup sesame seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
1 egg whisked until frothy
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Grease a baking sheet well, or line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, sesame seeds, eggs and oil. It will form thick dough so you may need your hands to give it a good mix.
- Divide the dough in half. Place one half of the dough on a sheet of baking paper and place another sheet over the top. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough over the paper until it is about 2 – 3 mm thick. The paper is not essential but it makes it a lot easier to roll out. Once it is as thin as possible, remove the top layer of the paper and slide it onto the baking tray. Using a knife or a pizza slicer, slice the dough into 6cm squares.
- Bake in the oven for 10 – 12 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown. Repeat with the other half of the dough. Cool and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
