I have been told that I am a good writer, and that I should do more of it. But, I really struggle to know where to start. So many ideas and thoughts and desires buzzing through my head that I desperately want to write down, but can't. Well, I could, but I give up because I can't figure out how to write them down coherently.
However, a friend told me a couple nights ago, that I should just sit down and say that. That I can't figure out what to write, and go from there. So, here I am. Admitting that I have terribly writer's block and have had for a long time.
Ugh, so many things in my head vying for my attention. Can a staunch "non-Calvinist" marry a Calvinist? How does one raise a child in a godly manner by themselves? Where am I going to be in 5 years? Where do I move to next? How does one start a cookie business from home? How different can theological/doctrinal differences be between husband and wife?
I think the one I will cover for now, is whether a husband and wife can or should be fairly radically different in their theology. Particularly if they are planning on having children one day and will both be responsible for teaching those children the ways of the Lord. I grew up with the whole saga of different theologies. I saw the effects on my siblings and I, and on my parents. And maybe it wouldn't effect every couple that way. But, I still want to consider what the Bible has to say about it.
There are honestly not a whole heap of verses on the subject. And most of them are more directly to do with associating with and spending time with unbelievers, or even believers who are actively living ungodly lives.
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"
2 Corinthians 6:14
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amos 3:3

I have been going through my blog post drafts and this one came up as one I hadn't finished! LOL Well, I am about to post about my newest life update which will kind of make this post irrelevant, but I still love seeing the thought process and how things turned out.
