4 Tbsp lemon juice
4 Tbsp soy sauce
8 Tbsp honey
1 1/2 in. grated ginger
1 Tbsp cornflour mixed with water
12 chicken wings or drumsticks
- Grate ginger, and place all ingredients in a saucepan except cornflour. Place on low heat until honey is melted. Stir in cornflour mixture and leave on heat until bubbling.
- Pour over around 12 chicken wings or drumsticks, and place in container and let to sit for 4 hours before baking. Place on oven trays and bake for 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 160 to 180 C.
Note: Sauce can be used as a marinade for whole roast chickens as well.
